Petersen Family Pictures

It's a rare occasion when ALL of us Petersen Kids are at the same place at the same time.

This last weekend, a miracle happened .. so we decided to take advantage of the situation and get some family pictures done.

So glad we were able to do this.  It'll probably be another few years before it happens again.

Seipert Family

Meet Steven and Rebecca.

I took this picture almost 5 years ago when I did their engagement photo session.

5 years sure does fly by.

Now, they have these two beautiful boys!

I always forget how busy two year olds can be.

Photographing them staying still is always a challenge.

Mr. W put up a good fight .. but we got him happy and distracted by some leaves.

Life is good.

Four Generation Pictures

I was recently asked to take pictures for a woman at my church.  She had her daughter, grand daughter and great grand daughter coming into town and she wanted a four generation picture.

I have taken my fair share of three generation pictures at various weddings and events, but never a four generation picture that I can remember.  I was so happy to be able to capture these moments for her.

Little Ellie was 6 weeks old and I think she enjoyed having all the attention.

Great Grandpa came to watch for a little bit, so we had to take some pictures with him.  He has a way with Ellie.  She would hear his voice and it always calmed her right down.

I love this series of pictures.  Ellie was smiling a bit at her mom, then she looked over at me.

And then .. she lost it.  That's when I knew we were done.

Rowley Family

Meet the Rowley Family.

They just moved here recently and Toni is a photographer.  I am SO glad she is here.  We have become fast friends and we decided to do a photo swap - I take her pictures, she takes mine.  I need to do some serious shopping and get our family picture outfits together.  I can't wait to have ours done.

Aren't they all so cute?

These kids were beyond wonderful.  They are definitely used to being in front of the camera.  They made my job SUPER easy.

Toni is SO gorgeous.  She looks fabulous in every picture.

Toni's husband has had this dog, Princess, for fourteen years.  She has gotten so old and they wanted to have some family pictures taken with her before she died.  Princess ended up passing away a few days after we took these pictures.  I'm so glad we were able to get a few with her in them.
